Big Bed

Friday, July 31st was a big day in August's life. His crib was changed into a toddler bed. The first morning he woke up still yelling for us to come and get him out. He didn't realize he could get out himself. Now he will bang on his door when he wants out and then run back to his bed when we open the door. He loves his new bed, but we did have one night last week when he said he wanted his crib back. His comforter and sheets are Handy Manny.

My 29th Birthday

Hard to believe that on July 27th I celebrated my 29th birthday. Seems like just yesterday I was running around in diapers. Just wanted to share a few pics from the night.

California Vacation Part 2

At the end of July we took a 2 week vacation to California. The first week was with the entire family which was in northern california and can been see in the part 1 clip. Then August and I stayed with my cousin in Southern california which all the fun is caputered in part 2. The slideshow was much easier because of all the pics we had. Hope you all enjoy!

Aunt Florence's 90th Bday Party

On Saturday June 27th we drove to Montalba, Texas to celebrate Billy's Great Aunt's birthday party. It was a great time! We got to spend lots of time with family that we don't really get to see much. We went with the intentions of coming back that night but we were having such a good time that ended up staying until Sunday.

Kyle kept pushing the light down and August would put it back up. It was a game for a little while.

South Padre/Port Mansfield Vacation

Well we started off our summer with a trip to South Padre and Port Mansfield. I had an athletic trainer's conference in south padre so we decided to also make it part of a vacation. During our stay there we were in a condo with our friends Ashley and Jeff Bernard and Kristie, Gary and Kami Hayes. It was a fun time. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Then when we left there on sunday we headed to port mansfield and met up with Billy's dad. Port Mansfield was full of fishing. I have a great farmer's tan to show and that's about it. The guys did good fishing but not me. Below are pics from our trip.

Mother's Day Present

For my mother's day present I recieved a pond. I have always wanted one so now I got it. Just ment that Billy had to put it in for me. Thanks to my loving husband for all his hard labor.

The finished pond. Now we just have to get some fish to put in it. Also we are going to put in shrubs and others plants around the pond that is the reason for the black weedblock stuff. The plants will be Billy and I's anniversary gifts to each other. Will post the final pics when it gets done.
