Texas Round-up 5K/10K

This past weekend Nannie came to visit and her and Billy decided to take on the Texas Round-up Run/Walk. Nannie walked the 5K and Billy ran the 10K. They both did great! August and I did the family mile.

Billy's time was 1 hour and 2 minutes. Pretty darn good for not really training to run the 10K. He was only going to run the 5K until Rudy talked him to running the 10K.

The family with August showing off his medal he got at the end of his family mile run. (it was actually just a quarter of a mile but he ran it at the end) It was neat they gave every kid a medal that did the event that said 2009 FITKID. He was so proud of it!
